Questly
I led the end-to-end product design and custom illustration for Questly, a gamified financial literacy app for kids. My objective was to transform the often-boring concept of saving into an immersive 'adventure' through character-driven storytelling and a rewards-based onboarding system that simplifies complex wealth-building for the next generation.

The "Engagement Gap" in Financial Education
Most financial tools for children are too academic, making money management feel like a chore rather than a rewarding habit. Questly needed a design strategy that replaced technical friction with emotional connection, guiding young users from 'Curious Learners' to 'Savings Superheroes' through an interactive narrative.

Enchantment through Character-Driven Design.
I utilized my illustration stack to create a cast of 'Savings Superheroes' that act as digital mentors, making the onboarding process feel like a game. By replacing standard 'Next' buttons with 'Start Adventure' and utilizing visual metaphors for growth, I reduced the cognitive load for children and established a sense of playful autonomy from the very first screen.
